「日本遺産葛城修験」こども山伏修行体験2023

かつらぎ町にある「堀越癪観音」で葛城修験を体験してみませんか？
和泉山脈から金剛山地までの一帯は、古くから「葛城」と呼ばれ、修験の聖地とされてきました。
令和２年６月、かつらぎ町など２０市町村にまたがるストーリー「葛城修験～里人とともに守り伝える修験道」が文化庁から日本遺産に認定されました。
昨年に引き続き、今回のこども山伏修行体験では、住職から葛城修験やお寺の由来についてのお話を聞いた後、
修験の道を歩いて「東ノ燈明岳」などを参拝します。
昼食は修験ゆかりの行者米を使った一汁一菜の精進料理です。

8組16名（応募者多数の場合は抽選し参加可否を締切後連絡）
◆内容◆
①堀越癪観音向井副住職指導のもと修験の歴史や作法を学びます
②1300年以上続く葛城修験の道を歩きます（燈明岳トレッキング）
③昼食は修験ゆかりの行者米を使った一汁一菜の精進料理
④参加者には住職直筆の修了証を進呈

【’Japanese Heritage Katsuragi Shugen’ children’s mountain asceticism experience.】
Why don’t you experience Katsuragi asceticism at “Horikoshi Kannon” in Katsuragi Town?
The area from the Izumi Mountains to the Kongo Mountains has been called “Katsuragi” since ancient times and has been considered a sacred place for ascetic training.
In June 2020, the story “Katsuragi Shugen-Shugendo protected and handed down with villagers”, which spans 20 municipalities, including Katsuragi Town, was certified as a Japan Heritage by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Continuing from last year, in this children’s Yamabushi training experience, after hearing stories from the chief priest about Katsuragi Shugen and the origin of the temple,
Walk along the trail of Shugendo and visit Mt. Higashino Toumyo.
Lunch is a vegetarian dish of one soup and one dish using ascetic rice related to Shugendo.

◆Contents◆
①Learn about the history and etiquette of shugen (mountain asceticism)
under the guidance of Chief priest Mukai from Horikoshi ShakuKannon
②Walk the path of Katsuragi Shugen, which has been followed for more than
1,300 years (Mt Toumyo trekking).
③Lunch is vegetarian cuisine of one soup and one dish using ascetic rice related to Shugendo
④Participants receive a certificate of completion handwritten by the Chief
priest
